About the Opportunity:

RCT is looking for a driven and enthusiastic

Sales/Marketing Assistant (Youth Intern)

to support our Community Engagement Team. This full-time role is perfect for someone passionate about communications, marketing, and social impact--and looking to build hands-on experience in a dynamic team environment.

Working closely with a Community Engagement Lead, you'll assist in outreach, lead generation, promotional campaigns, and market research--all to help expand RCT's reach and impact.

16 and 30 years of age

Be a

Canadian citizen

permanent resident

in Canada

Be

legally entitled to work in Canada

Not have previously participated in any ESDC

(formerly known as HRSDC)

funded youth programs

Be available to work

What You'll Be Doing:

Market Research & Outreach

Research potential markets, clients, and partners Build and maintain a list of 100+ weekly email outreach targets Collaborate with team members to draft engaging weekly email campaigns

External Communications & Marketing Support

Assist in brainstorming and planning email campaigns Support the creation and organization of marketing materials and retention programs Help plan and report on promotional campaigns

Sales Strategy & Support

Help build a sales plan for existing clients and partners using SAGE data Identify and suggest new outreach opportunities and target markets Maintain and update key tracking tools, like our Action Item tracker and master client/partner lists

General Support

Work closely with the team to ensure successful program execution Take on other duties as needed to support the engagement strategy
