Story Behind the Need

• Business group: Business Group: Commercial Banking Engineering oversees changes/implementations to commercial client programs.

Candidate Value Proposition:

Typical Day in Role:

• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Reading and writing SQL Queries
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 10 years' Salesforce Development experience with a Minimum of 1 Recent project with a Financial Services Cloud environment
• Previous Financial services experience is critical - large insurance, tertiary bank should be fine - but Telcos/marketing cloud it's not what the team is looking for.
• 2 + years' working knowledge of Salesforce tools to execute and manage workflow processes at various stages of the SDLC cycle (e.g. Salesforce DX)
• Experience working on a project that requires integration with various systems (on-prem, Azure, API connectivity, real-time connectivity, ETL tools)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with nCino Credit Origination (managed package for Salesforce) - Credit package on top of Salesforce - looking for some experience here
• Knowledge of Oracle Storage Procedures

• Ability to translate technical knowledge into business value.
• Strong communication skills to be able to communicate with various stakeholders/external teams and problem-solving
• Working collaboratively - strong team player
• Capable of adapting quickly, managing multiple demands & competing priorities, while delivering deadlines
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Best VS. Average Candidate

• The ideal candidate is a Salesforce Developer with extensive hands-on experience delivering multiple projects within the Financial Services Cloud, particularly with nCino, and possesses a strong background in system integrations.

• Interview Format: 1 round - 1-hour MS Teams video interview
• Interview Panel: Hiring Manager and Solution Architects

o Behavioral and situational questions
o Examples from previous roles

o Technical assessment
o Hands-on coding exercise
