About the Role
As a
Sales / Customer Service Associate
, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients and play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional salon experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Greeting clients warmly and help them get seated comfortably.
Ensuring clients receive the service and style they expect by communicating effectively with stylists and management.
Offering beverages or light refreshments during their appointment.
Assisting with customer bookings, payments, and answering inquiries.
Checking in on clients during services to ensure comfort.
Supporting stylists and management by relaying client needs or concerns.
Keeping the salon organized and professional (restocking products, folding towels, light cleaning).
Helping with small administrative tasks, including handling appointments, messages, and point-of-sale duties.
Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services in a friendly, professional manner
Work Environment
Team-Oriented
: You'll work closely with management and stylists while also completing independent tasks.
Dynamic & Engaging
: Expect a balance of customer-facing responsibilities and light computer-based tasks.
Balance of Duties
: Roughly
40% computer work
(appointments, payments, messages) and
60% salon-floor duties
(client support, organization, communication).
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
1 year of sales / customer support experience desired
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
