Hamster is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Sales/Development Representative (CDR) to join our team.

The Client Development Representative (CDR) plays a key role in supporting our Corporate Account Managers across Canada by driving client growth and delivering exceptional customer service across a defined territory. This role requires regular customer site visits and direct engagement with end-users to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities, and upsell product category solutions, across all business essentials categories, including stationery, furniture, technology, janitorial and breakroom supplies, educational, and printing and promotional products.

Our CDR role works in collaboration with Account Manager(s) and responsible for expanding & supporting customer sales and growth objectives. This is a target-carrying position that combines sales development activities with hands-on customer engagement at multiple account locations.

Main Responsibilities



Support Corporate / National Account Managers in managing and growing assigned corporate accounts across the territory. Conduct regular on-site visits with customers and end-users to build strong relationships, provide product recommendations, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Provide proactive customer support to ensure high satisfaction and long-term account retention. Develop account penetration strategies to drive incremental revenue and margin across diverse product categories. Prospect and secure new sales opportunities within the territory (approx. 60% of time). Maintain accurate account activity records in CRM (SAP) to ensure visibility and follow-up on opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored product, pricing, and service solutions to clients. Meet or exceed company standards for sales and gross margin targets, customer engagement, and territory coverage.

Qualifications



Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, or related field; or equivalent work experience (minimum 5 years in B2B corporate accounts or Outbound Customer Support role). Proven experience selling products into multiple levels of corporate accounts, including executive decision-makers, purchasing departments or individuals. Familiarity with contractual requirements, reporting, and account compliance. Knowledge of office products, furniture, technology, and janitorial/sanitation supplies preferred or considered an asset. MUST have valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory. Strong computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems).

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
