About the Role:
We're looking for a motivated
Sales Support Representative
who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building relationships. This role is perfect for someone who's passionate about architecture, construction, and client engagement -- and wants to grow their career in sales within a dynamic, well-established company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prospect and qualify leads through networking, cold calls, emails, and industry events. Convert leads into sales opportunities.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products to architects and designers.
Prepare proposals and respond to a variety of RFPs for large projects.
Leverage drywall and general contractors for prospective opportunities.
Generate new leads (project opportunities) through bid sites/lead generation platforms (Green Sheets & BidCentral or similar)
Develop a deep understanding of High Crest products and services to effectively communicate tailored solutions to prospective clients.
Actively visit clients' offices and present High Crest products and services, demonstrating how they meet the client's specific needs.
Manage success metrics and collaborate with colleagues to optimize sales efforts across all regions.
Ensure the project pipeline database (CRM) and quote database are current and up to date.
Report on sales KPIs (leads, quotations, conversion rates).
Participate in huddle meetings with production staff to discuss customer feedback and quality control measures
Work in tandem with the production team to coordinate customer requirements and deliveries
Ensure customer approval regarding the scope of work, material dimensions, and specifications before approving orders for production
Work closely with the Sales Manager on public relations and coordinating appointments.
Discover and drive relevant traffic and leads to the company website through marketing initiatives, social media platforms, LinkedIn, using AI content to support High Crest products.
Other duties as required.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales-related position
Education in business, marketing/sales or a related field
Previous experience with construction or building materials considered an asset.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft (Office products, Adobe products), CRM systems and social media platforms for creative content and posting.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Ability to understand and articulate technical information related to construction products.
Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
