Oversees the daily operations and performance of a cross-functional sales support team in the office. Supports execution of projects and manages both short and long sales cycles. Participates in the development of sales plans and ensures alignment with business development goals.Essential Functions:Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team across estimating, design, account management, and project coordination to ensure day-to-day effectiveness. Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and training of department staff. Oversee team scheduling, workload planning, and performance tracking. Manage team schedules, workload distribution, and performance tracking Promote cross-training and process consistency Support short and long sales cycle activities Coordinate with Business Development on project handoffs and priorities Schedule vendor-led product training sessions Keep the team informed on product specs and industry updates Oversee estimates, submittals, CAD drawings, and sourcing Ensure accurate use of SAP for estimating, procurement, and tracking Communicate with customers and vendors as needed Maintain relationships with manufacturers, reps, and suppliers Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, and Field Services Coordinate with contractors, consultants, installers, and end users Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:Strong leadership and team development skills Strategic thinking and sales support across short and long cycles Technical and system fluency (SAP or similar ERP) Excellent time and project management Strong communication and relationship-building skills Customer-centric mindset and problem-solving ability Equipment / Tools / Technology:SAP or similar ERP software experience is a plus Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, e-mail, and Google applications Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software Education & Minimum Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 5 or more years of experience in foodservice equipment, commercial kitchens, or related project environments with 2 + years in a supervisory or team lead role. Bachelor Degree in Business, Sales, Finance, or other related fields preferred.
