About Us



Flare Events is Canada's leading off-app dating company, offering speed dating, matchmaking, and coaching services nationwide. We help singles connect more meaningfully, and we're building a modern alternative to dating apps through real human connection.

We're now looking for someone who wants to help us grow, not just by selling services, but by shaping what sales and partnerships look like at Flare in the long term. If you've sold lifestyle, entertainment, or personal services before, and you love helping people, this is your chance to build something from scratch.

Role Overview



This is not a plug-and-play sales job. It's an opportunity to step into a blank-slate role where you'll build something meaningful from the ground up. You'll start by selling our matchmaking and coaching services and testing outreach strategies. From there, you'll expand into sponsorships, brand deals, and strategic partnerships - with our full support, but your own initiative.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just want a job, but wants to own a function. If you succeed, you'll eventually lead a team. That growth starts with you. You'll have lots of freedom, room to experiment, and the chance to create a role around your strengths, but you'll also be expected to put in the time and effort to build the foundation for something lasting.

Key Responsibilities



Handle inbound leads and consult with potential clients about our matchmaking and coaching services. Conduct outreach to generate new business opportunities. Develop and pitch partnership and sponsorship ideas to aligned brands, influencers, and collaborators. Track results, learn from what works, and optimize sales processes. Collaborate with events and marketing teams on activations and growth campaigns. Create, track and report all sales and partnership KPIs. Over time, expand your scope and take ownership of a full revenue function.

What You Bring:



Sales, partnerships, or outreach experience, ideally in lifestyle, entertainment, hospitality, or personal services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (you can read people and connect easily). Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity (you're energized by creating your own structure). A desire to take ownership and grow into a leadership role over time.

: knowledge of or interest in dating, coaching, or wellness services.

: experience with brand collaborations or sponsorships in lifestyle-adjacent industries.

Candidates based in Toronto, Ontario are preferred; however, we welcome applications from qualified individuals across Canada.

Compensation



$18-22/hr for up to 10 hours per week to start. Commission and performance-based incentives with significant upside potential. Clear path to expand hours, scope, and earnings based on performance.
