We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist - Network & Security to support our Account Executive team across the province of Quebec, focusing on identifying and developing network solution opportunities in partnership with Account Executives serving enterprise customers and public sector organizations across key verticals including Retail, Professional Services, Transport & Logistics, Restaurants, Public Sector, Banking, and Insurance. This technical overlay role requires substantial networking and network security expertise to help build a robust funnel of TELUS Network Services and security opportunities, enabling Account Executives to effectively position and advance network modernization solutions with customers in your target industries.




Key Responsibilities






Funnel Building & Opportunity Development




Identify network and security opportunities with Account Executives through technical discovery sessions Qualify opportunities and assess technical fit of solutions Build and maintain an opportunity portfolio across Quebec territory Track opportunity and funnel progression





Technical Expertise & Enablement




Serve as the technical subject matter expert on network solutions for the AccountExecutive team Provide technical guidance on SD-WAN (Meraki, Fortinet, VeloCloud), managed LAN/WiFi, and security solutions Help Account Executives understand customer technical requirements and pain points Educate Account Executives on network solution capabilities, use cases and competitive positioning Translate complex technical requirements into solution recommendations





Collaborative Selling Support




Assist Account Executives in customer meetings to identify network opportunities Lead technical discovery conversations, assess customer network environments Help position network solutions within broader customer technology initiatives Identify triggers and buying signals for network modernization projects Support Account Executives in developing business cases for network solutions





Stakeholder Engagement




Engage with customer IT teams and technical stakeholders during discovery phase Participate in customer-facing presentations with technical expertise Facilitate connections between Account Executives and Customer Solutions Architects for qualified opportunities, coordinate with Sales Support Managers for technical validation and scoping, and leverage internal resources to support opportunity development Support Account Executives across the entire Quebec territory while maintaining awareness of market dynamics, customer trends, and building relationships with the Quebec-based team





Qualifications

10+ annees d'experience en ventes technologiques B2B, de preference en reseautique, telecommunications ou services geres Experience averee dans un role de soutien aux ventes, de specialiste ou de ventes techniques Parcours professionnel demontrant une collaboration efficace avec des directeurs de comptes ou des equipes de vente Experience dans l'identification et la qualification d'opportunites technique Familiarite avec les environnements de vente du marche des grandes entreprises et/ou du secteur public Bilingue (francais/anglais) Une connaissance avancee de l'anglais est requise, car vous serez appele(e) la plupart du temps a interagir en anglais avec des parties externes (par ex. clients, fournisseurs ou partenaires externes); a interagir en anglais avec des parties internes (par ex. collegues ou parties prenantes); et a travailler dans un environnement informatique anglais dans le cadre des taches liees a ce poste dont la portee est nationale.




Connaissances techniques - EXIGENCE CRITIQUE




Principes fondamentaux des reseaux

: Solide comprehension pratique des architectures SD-WAN, de la conception de reseaux LAN/WAN, des protocoles de routage et de commutation, et des deploiements WiFi d'entreprise

Securite des reseaux

: Connaissance approfondie des pare-feu (UTM, NGFW), des cadres SASE, des technologies VPN et des exigences de conformite en matiere de securite

Plateformes des fournisseurs

: Connaissance pratique des solutions Cisco Meraki, Fortinet SD-WAN/securite et Broadcom VeloCloud

Connectivite et architecture

: Comprehension des options de connectivite (fibre optique, basculement sans fil, satellite, MPLS) et des architectures de reseaux en nuage hybride

Communication technique

: Capacite a interpreter des schemas de reseau, a interagir de maniere credible avec les professionnels des TI et a traduire les capacites techniques en resultats operationnels



Competences et aptitudes




Excellentes competences en decouverte technique et evaluation des besoins Approche collaborative avec les directeurs de comptes Capacites de presentation et de communication efficaces avec des audiences techniques et executives Maitrise de Salesforce CRM et du suivi des opportunites Autonome avec de solides competences organisationnelles et de gestion du temps Capacite a gerer simultanement de multiples demandes de directeurs de comptes Approche collaborative axee sur la reussite d'equipe Preference pour un role d'expertise technique plutot que de gestion de compte

Certifications Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, ou certifications Meraki) Certifications Fortinet NSE Certifications VMware VeloCloud Certifications de securite (CISSP, Security+, ou equivalent) Experience anterieure en tant qu'ingenieur reseau, ingenieur systemes ou architecte technique Experience du marche quebecois et comprehension de la dynamique d'affaires regionale Familiarite avec les produits et services TELUS Comprehension de ServiceNow ou plateformes ITSM similaires

Salary Range: $89,000-$133,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: $60,000-110,000
