We are looking for a Sales Specialist who is a self-starter, critical thinker, and highly interested in the application of new technologies and methods for monitoring ocean health, to join our operation team in Halifax, NS. Roles and Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Respond to all online store related operations

• Respond to inquiries made by clients about company products and services in a timely and friendly manner
• Manage all inventory and coordinate with others on orders to be made
• Ensure that all items required for production are available in a timely manner
• Create and manage client profiles
• Prepare all supporting documents (shipping labels, customs declarations, product tags etc.)
• Collect and analyze client feedback in order to optimize online sale experience
• Semi-yearly or yearly review and planning

\xc2\xb7 Provide general support to Sales Manager

• Take part in annual Sales Plan development
• Provide product/service demonstrations and sales presentations
• Work with technical team to provide customized products/services to clients
• Drive referral request conversations with current and new customers
• Any other reasonable job responsibilities that are assigned

\xc2\xb7 Provide general administrative support to sales team, such as phone calls, emails, and organize sales related data \xc2\xb7 Generate operational reports on a weekly or monthly basis \xc2\xb7 Assist the sales team with maintaining excellent relationships with all business contacts \xc2\xb7 Coordinate and assist in customer service support activities \xc2\xb7 Support all sales activities as required, such as trade show, conference or other online/offline presentation \xc2\xb7 6-month performance review will be applied Qualifications and Education Requirements \xc2\xb7 Minimum 3 years experience in marine technology or solution sales or related field \xc2\xb7 Post-secondary in business management is an asset \xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment \xc2\xb7 Must be sales minded and target driven \xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and oral communication/negotiation skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to answer inquiries on time \xc2\xb7 Good working knowledge of the Windows Suite products What we offer
