Overview of responsibilities
The Helm's success is built on genuine, long-lasting relationships with our clients, as well as superior knowledge of the menswear industry. With that in mind, an ideal candidate:
Must be able to communicate well, both internally and externally, and have exceptional interpersonal and social skills
Has the ability to build rapport with new and existing clients, both personally and professionally
Has an innate desire to help people and provide meaningful and memorable customer service experiences
Is approachable, confident, positive and has a can-do attitude
Has an understanding of and passion for the fashion industry
Has a willingness to learn and continuously improve
Is extremely organized and reliable
Is comfortable working in a team setting, but is also self-motivated and driven
Will use the tools and processes that have been created to not only meet, but exceed sales goals on a luxury sales floor
Job Requirements
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in luxury menswear, tailoring, or made to measure services
Strong knowledge of men's suiting, fabrics, garment construction, and alterations
Experience in relationship based selling and delivering exceptional service
Skilled in client development and maintaining a client book
