Alpha Building Supply, a leading building material supply store, is seeking an Experienced Sales Specialist to join our team on a salary and commission-based compensation structure. Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their unique needs and provide expert advice on building materials, products, and services.
• Product Knowledge: Utilize your extensive knowledge of building materials to guide customers in selecting the right products for their projects. Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and building codes.
• Sales Generation: Take a proactive approach to sales by identifying and approaching customers, offering personalized recommendations, and effectively communicating product features, benefits, and pricing.
• Quotations and Orders: Prepare accurate and detailed quotations, process customer orders efficiently, and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery.
• Customer Service: Strive to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for every customer. Handle inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the building material supply industry.
• Strong Product Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of a wide range of building materials, including lumber, hardware, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and more. Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends.
• Sales Skills: Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-Motivated: Highly self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive sales environment. Ability to work independently and take initiative to achieve targets.
