is a business-to-business sales professional responsible for supporting and driving Tridon Communications' telecommunications and technology systems solutions across Alberta. This role will be based out of our Calgary Office.
This role is focused on consultative, solution-based selling within telecommunications and systems integration--not transactional sales. Depending on experience level, the incumbent will support or lead sales opportunities, develop new business, expand existing customer relationships, and work closely with engineering and project teams to deliver effective technology solutions.
This position is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in technology who are motivated to grow a long-term career in telecommunications sales.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
Identify, pursue, and support sales opportunities across assigned territories in Southern Alberta
Prospect, engage, and develop new customer relationships while supporting growth of existing accounts
Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with sales targets
Support or lead opportunities from initial engagement through solution design, proposal development, and contract execution
For junior-level incumbents: support senior sales leaders and progressively assume greater ownership of accounts
For senior-level incumbents: independently manage accounts and drive full-cycle sales opportunities
Technology Solutions Expertise
Sell telecommunications and integrated technology solutions, including but not limited to:
+ Fiber and connectivity solutions
+ Wireless systems
+ Networking and infrastructure
+ Security and low-voltage systems Translate customer operational and technical requirements into practical, value-driven solutions
Stay current on evolving telecommunications and technology trends and effectively communicate value to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaboration & Internal Partnerships
Work closely with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure feasible and scalable solutions
Support cross-functional coordination to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction
Represent Tridon's values, professionalism, and ethical standards in all interactions
Administrative & Performance
Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and sales documentation
Prepare timely and accurate information to support forecasting, proposals, and customer onboarding
Meet performance expectations and sales objectives appropriate to experience level
QUALIFICATIONS:
Background or experience in telecommunications, technology, IT, low-voltage, networking, or related fields
Sales experience is an asset but not required for junior-level candidates
Demonstrated interest in technology and ability to learn complex solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Post-secondary education is considered an asset
Experience with CRM systems is an asset
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid driver's license, clean driving abstract, and reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
Must successfully complete background and motor vehicle checks
Based in Calgary or surrounding area
Willingness to travel within Southern Alberta

Support or manage sales opportunities within assigned scope

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
The Sales Representative will work primarily in an office and field-based environment and must comply with the company dress code requirements. Travel within Alberta will be required, and site-specific safety and access requirements must be adhered to when applicable.
