The Opportunity: Sales Representative
We're on the hunt for a dynamic Sales Representative to join our expanding sales team in the Winnipeg and surrounding regions. This isn't just a sales role--it's an opportunity to drive our growth strategy, forge valuable relationships, and be rewarded with an industry-leading, uncapped commission plan.
What You'll Do:
Leverage Your Network:
Utilize and expand your contacts within industries like construction, retail, petrochemical, renewable energy, and infrastructure.
Client Engagement:
Travel within your territory to meet and educate prospective clients on our robust security solutions, closing deals that propel our business forward.
Business Development:
Proactively generate new leads through cold-calling, in-person meetings, and digital outreach.
Relationship Building:
Conduct quarterly follow-ups to deepen client relationships and uncover new business opportunities.
Data-Driven Insights:
Prepare weekly sales reports and gather market intelligence to refine strategies and exceed KPIs.
Product Expertise:
Become the resident expert on Zedcor's offerings, delivering tailored solutions to address client challenges.
Collaboration & Strategy:
Work closely with management to shape and execute sales strategies while managing your CRM pipeline.
What We're Looking For:
Proven Sales Expertise:
3+ years of experience in business development or B2B sales, with a strong track record in prospecting, qualifying, and closing accounts.
Hunting & Networking:
A proactive "hunter" skilled at creating new business opportunities and presenting to large groups.
Industry Savvy:
Experience in equipment rental solutions or familiarity with industrial camera solutions is an asset (training provided for the right candidate).
Communication & Negotiation:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for strategic negotiations.
Tech Proficiency:
Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
Self-Motivated:
A results-driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Availability:
Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 90% in the field with occasional overnight stays) and a valid G driver's license with a clean record.
Commitment:
Must pass a full background check.
