Overview


We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales and business development, with a proven track record in B2B sales. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage accounts effectively. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities



Develop labour scopes that communicate clearly the job requirements that will allow for a smooth handoff to our craftspeople. Engage in outside sales activities to generate new business opportunities and expand existing accounts. Develop and implement effective territory management strategies to maximize sales potential. Conduct lead generation through cold calling, networking, and referrals to identify prospective clients. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout. Provide accurate job estimates and explain project scopes clearly. Utilize CRM software, such as Dispatch, to track leads, manage accounts, and analyze sales performance (training provided). Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies and enhance lead generation efforts. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while upselling additional products or services. Provide ongoing account management to maintain strong relationships with customers and address their needs.

Qualifications



Proven experience in outside sales or direct sales roles. Strong understanding of the construction industry and renovation process is highly desirable. Experience with CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales activities. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. Strong analytical skills for assessing market trends and performance metrics. Ability to conduct product demos confidently and engage customers effectively. Previous experience in account management or territory sales is a plus. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships. A proactive approach to lead generation and business development initiatives.
