Midland Food is a growing seafood wholesale distributor serving the Greater Toronto Area. We specialize in delivering high-quality frozen seafood products to retail markets and other wholesale clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow long-term relationships with frozen seafood wholesalers, and other B2B clients
Prospect and onboard new business clients within assigned territory to expand market reach
Conduct client visits to present product lines, introduce new items, and ensure customer satisfaction
Coordinate closely with internal departments (logistics, warehouse, accounting) to ensure accurate order processing and timely delivery
Monitor client accounts, track order status, and resolve service or delivery issues
Prepare regular sales reports, client updates, and forecasts to support management planning
Stay informed on seafood product trends, seasonal availability, and competitive pricing
Represent the company at seafood trade shows and industry events to promote brand and build leads
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the frozen seafood wholesale market
Strong understanding of seafood product categories and market trends
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven
Portuguese language skills preferred
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
