The position focuses on driving sales revenue by building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including consulting engineers, municipalities, sales representatives, and OEMs in Southern Ontario.Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Establish and maintain strong connections with current and prospective customers.
  • Understand customer needs, provide relevant information, and address concerns or objections promptly.
  • Participate in sales meetings, support team success, identify challenges, and develop innovative solutions to exceed customer expectations while maintaining their long-term value to the company.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the company\'s products or services, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations tailored to customer needs, showcasing the value and benefits of the company\'s offerings.
  • Utilize effective negotiation skills to create win-win solutions for the company and the customer, ensuring successful deal closures.
  • Keep detailed and up-to-date records of customer interactions, preferences, and sales activities using a CRM system.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in Sales and Business Development.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the Water and Wastewater market.
  • Regular travel within the Southern Ontario territory, with occasional travel across Canada and the U.S. for training, exhibitions, or factory visits.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing business needs.
  • Ability to navigate various customer facilities, including stairs, ladders, or construction sites as required.
