is seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Sales Representative

to join our team in the fast-paced food distribution industry. The ideal candidate will be the face of our company, responsible for building strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring our clients receive exceptional service. You will work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.

Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management:

Actively engage with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide product recommendations.

Sales Processing:

Generate and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing and volume.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain a deep understanding of our food product catalog to effectively answer customer inquiries.

Order Coordination:

Liaise with the warehouse team to confirm stock availability and ensure timely picking and packing of orders.

Invoicing & Documentation:

Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to create accurate invoices and track sales transactions.

Lead Generation:

Identify new business opportunities within the local food service and retail sectors to expand our market reach.

Feedback Loop:

Collect and report customer feedback to management to help improve product offerings and service quality.

Logistics Support:

Coordinate with the dispatch team to provide customers with accurate delivery timelines.

Experience & Qualifications

Sales Experience:

Prior experience in retail sales, wholesale distribution, or account management is preferred.

Communication Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.

Technical Proficiency:

Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace. Experience with

QuickBooks

is a significant asset.

Results-Oriented:

A proven ability to meet sales targets and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Interpersonal Skills:

Strong ability to build rapport quickly with a diverse range of clients and colleagues.

Detail-Oriented:

High level of accuracy in data entry for orders and financial records.

Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with the food distribution industry or logistics is helpful but not required.

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
