Silkway Flooring is seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Sales Representative

to join our team! You will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries and proactively offering tailored flooring solutions to drive company revenue. This role is ideal for an ambitious professional who thrives on outside sales and building relationships with trade clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Present and sell

high-quality flooring products (wood, vinyl, laminate, etc.) and installation services to new and existing customers.

Actively prospect and contact potential trade customers

(developers, builders, designers, architects) to secure new project contracts.

Willingness to drive

to meet customers, conduct on-site project assessments, and present materials.

Reach agreed-upon sales targets

and revenue goals by established deadlines. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring long-term client satisfaction. Set follow-up appointments to keep trade clients aware of the latest product developments and promotions. Create professional sales materials, quotes, and proposals to present to customers.
Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) years of previous experience in

commissioned sales

, business development, or a related field.

Direct experience in flooring, construction, or building materials sales is a significant advantage.

Familiarity with CRM platforms. Proven ability to build strong, long-lasting rapport with clients and industry professionals. Strong negotiation skills and ability to close contracts. Deadline and detail-oriented approach to pipeline management.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
