We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Plant Nursery Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for horticulture, strong sales skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. You will play a key role in driving sales, educating customers on plant care, and ensuring a high-quality shopping experience at our nursery locations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with plant selection, care instructions, and landscaping recommendations.
• Drive sales by engaging with retail and wholesale customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales area.
• Process transactions, handle inquiries, and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner.
• Monitor plant health and ensure proper care of inventory, including watering and pruning as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with landscapers, garden centers, and other industry professionals to generate wholesale sales.
• Stay informed on industry trends, new plant varieties, and best practices in nursery sales.
• Support inventory management, including stock replenishment and receiving plant shipments.
• Participate in promotional activities, seasonal sales events, and marketing efforts to attract customers.

Requirements:

• Experience in sales, customer service, or a related role (horticulture industry experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of plants, gardening, and landscaping, or a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an outdoor/retail setting.
• Basic computer skills for processing transactions and managing inventory.
• Ability to lift and move plants, soil bags, and other nursery-related items.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak seasons.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
