Job Description

Universal Precision Technology is a well-established organization that specializes in the manufacturing of precision components and sub-assemblies for the aerospace, medical, optical and defense sectors. We are looking to increase our diverse and dynamic team with the addition of an accomplished individual.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Reporting to the President, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate proven work experience in Sales and Marketing strategies; Seek out prospective customers / business opportunities with new clients; Establish and maintain customer relationships in order to grow profitable sales; Represent the company at exhibits and manufacturing technology shows by networking and marketing our services; Follow-up on generated quotations to assure that the customer is being serviced; Generate profitable sales orders; Report competitive conditions and feedback from customers to management; Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, assuring a professional impression of ones-self and the company; Abide with instructions, regulations and safety policies; Perform other duties as instructed or required to successfully complete the job

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION



Bachelor's degree in Sales / Business or closely related field with five years of relevant sales and industry experience; or equivalent combined education and on the job training; Strong knowledge of the machining manufacturing industry; Commitment and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions; Demonstrated time management and organizational skills; Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales presentations; Demonstrated capability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment; Strong customer service orientation; Ability to speak French and other languages is an asset

ADDITONAL REQUIREMENT



Security clearance (Controlled Goods Program); Occasionally travel for conferences, shows and meetings within Canada and the United States; A valid driver's license and proven safe driving record
