Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sales Representative will play an active role in developing the hotel's client base and supporting upcoming projects by strengthening relationships with various clients and partners.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients within the T&T and SMERF segments.
Identify new business opportunities locally, nationally, and internationally in these segments.
Conduct targeted prospecting activities: cold calls, client visits, trade shows, and sales missions.
Prepare customized sales proposals, follow up accordingly, and close agreements.
Collaborate closely with the front desk, food and beverage, and banquet teams to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
Keep the client database (CRM) up to date and produce regular performance reports.
Actively participate in sales department meetings, marketing campaigns, and performance reviews.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities and provide strategic recommendations.
Work in synergy with other members of the sales team to optimize overall performance.
Perform all other related duties.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Diploma in hotel management, tourism, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of sales experience in the hotel sector, ideally within the T&T or SMERF segments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and a results-oriented approach.
Proficiency with computer tools and CRM systems.
Bilingualism (French/English) required, both spoken and written, due to our international clientele.
Availability for occasional travel (client visits, trade shows).
Education: College Diploma (D.E.C.) in Tourism or Hospitality -- An asset.
