We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of sales success. As an Automotive Sales Representative, you will be responsible for assisting customers throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs, recommend suitable vehicles, and facilitate test drives. Additionally, you will negotiate sales terms, finalize purchase agreements, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive buying experience.
Key responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing information on available vehicles and dealership offerings.
Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements, preferences, and budget.
Recommend appropriate vehicles based on customer needs and guide them through available options.
Accompany customers on test drives, demonstrating key vehicle features and benefits.
Provide clear pricing information and negotiate sales terms in a professional manner.
Present and explain financing and leasing options, including loan terms and manufacturer programs.
Finalize purchase agreements and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate vehicle delivery and provide customers with a comprehensive orientation of vehicle features and functions.
Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction, build relationships, and address any concerns.
Stay up to date on new vehicle models, features, promotions, and industry trends.
Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and departmental goals.
Complete vehicle deliveries with attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license is required.
OMVIC license is required.
Fluent in multiple languages are an asset.
Previous experience in automotive sales or sales related industry is preferred.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Ability to build rapport and establish long-term customer relationships.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
