Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven
Outside Sales Representative
to join our team for the Nova Scotia and Newfoundland territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, and promoting our steel roofing products to contractors, builders, distributors, and other industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and distributors.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
Conduct on-site visits and product presentations.
Collaborate with the inside sales and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Provide accurate forecasts and regular sales reports to management.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and product demonstrations.
Ensure all customer inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of building materials; experience with steel roofing or metal products is a strong asset.
Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture or a related field an asset.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications (an asset).
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, full-time.
You will be required to work weekends when a show or trade event is scheduled.
