Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our vibrant team. This role will be responsible for helping drive our agencies and the architectural and design community. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in sales, preferably within the architectural lighting, building materials, or related design industries.
Key Responsibilities
oBusiness Development: Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities, focusing on key accounts, large-scale projects, and emerging market segments.
oRelationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with independent sales agencies, architects, interior designers, lighting consultants, electrical engineers, and general contractors.
oMotivate the external sales agencies, providing coaching on complex sales cycles, product knowledge, to ensure consistent target achievement.
oCross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the sales team and the marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and product launches.
Required Qualifications
oExperience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in sales.
oIndustry Knowledge (Preferred): Demonstrated understanding of the architectural lighting, commercial design, or high-end building materials sector. Experience working with independent sales representatives or agents is a significant asset.
oCommunication & Presentation: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Education
oA Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant professional experience will be considered in place of a degree.
