to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sales, design, and client relationships. You'll be working closely with interior designers and interior decorators to help bring their custom furniture visions to life, while also expanding our market reach.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Showroom Management
Serve as the first point of contact for designers and clients visiting the showroom
Ensure all showroom pieces are beautifully presented and maintained
Provide product knowledge and design guidance to visiting designers and their clients
Keep the showroom organized, clean, and aligned with seasonal trends
Coordinate sample requests and manage showroom inventory
Host designers and clients for walkthroughs and consultations
b) Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and events
Attend designer-focused events and trade shows to promote our brand
Build a pipeline of qualified leads and nurture relationships
c) Sales & Order Management
Develop strong relationships with designers and clients to understand their needs
Provide customized furniture solutions and product recommendations
Prepare sales quotes and capture all details, specifications and customizations to ensure quote is accurate and includes all required elements
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, warehouse, sales support) to meet designer/client needs and support fulfillment of orders
Track sales activities and help monitor pipeline progress
Negotiate and close sales
d) Market & Industry Engagement
Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings
Represent Gresham House at trade shows and promotional events
Share insights with the team to help shape product and sales strategies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
College diploma/Bachelors degree in business or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of direct sales experience (furniture industry strongly preferred)
Strong work ethic and openness to coaching and feedback
Detail-oriented and organized, especially when processing quotes and orders
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
Creative flair and passion for design
Hours:
Onsite, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
