Automotive Sales Consultant

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about helping customers find the perfect vehicle that meets their needs and budget, ensuring a seamless and exciting buying experience from initial contact to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement:

Greet and engage with customers promptly, professionally, and enthusiastically both in the showroom and through digital channels (phone, email, text).

Needs Assessment:

Consult with prospective buyers to understand their vehicle needs, wants, and preferences, and recommend appropriate models and trims.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain in-depth knowledge of our vehicle inventory, features, accessories, and technological advancements, as well as competitive models.

Test Drives & Demonstrations:

Conduct thorough and professional vehicle presentations and test drives, highlighting key features and benefits.

Negotiation & Closing:

Successfully negotiate pricing and terms to secure sales, ensuring mutual satisfaction for the customer and the dealership.

Follow-Up & Retention:

Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to follow up with leads, maintain relationships with existing customers, and encourage repeat and referral business.

Compliance:

Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently in accordance with dealership and regulatory standards.

Team Collaboration:

Work cooperatively with sales managers, service, and other departments to ensure the best possible customer experience.
Qualifications and Skills

Proven Sales Acumen:

Demonstrated success in a sales-related role, with an ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Experience in commission-based sales is a plus.

Communication Excellence:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.

Customer Focus:

A genuine commitment to delivering a world-class customer experience and building lasting relationships.

Self-Motivation:

Highly driven, energetic, and organized with a strong work ethic.

Technical Proficiency:

Comfortable using CRM systems, basic computer software, and digital communication tools.

Licensing:

Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Availability:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings.
Bonus/Preferred Qualifications (Finance Note)

Prior automotive sales experience is preferred but not required.

We are willing to train the right individual.

Experience or knowledge of automotive financing and insurance products is an asset

but is

not a requirement

for this role, as dedicated Finance Managers handle these transactions.
