$44,000 - $54,000 Annual Salary + Yearly Bonus

Based inHalifax and reporting tothe Regional Sales Manager, this full-time position will be responsible for the support and retention of current on-premise licensees while developing new prospects and sales opportunities. You will work within the retail sales network by calling on NSLC and NSLC Agency Stores within Nova Scotia. Within Garrison, you will work collaboratively with Sales team members as well as with other individuals and departments in achieving common goals. Overall, your focus will be in helping Garrison develop and maintain strong customer relationships, meanwhile making sure all of our products are well-represented and available. This role requires someone who is energetic, highly motivated, and passionate about promoting local products.
Key Responsibilities
On-Premise & NSLC Retail Stores
o Develop and manage relationships with key decision makers at licensee accounts. Provide prompt and friendly customer service that exceeds expectations.
o Work with store managers and retail product specialist in NSLC stores to better understand our brands.
o Work with customers to drive brand awareness, increased sales and community engagement through brand activations, promotions and staff tastings/education.
o Achieve and exceed sales targets within your assigned territory.
o Develop new business through prospecting and lead generation.
o Generate direct sales where appropriate.
o Represent the company and our brands at festivals, community events, and industry functions.
o Work closely with the marketing team to implement promotions and activations.
o Occasional delivery and empty keg pickups as needed.
o Future tasks and responsibilities to be added as necessary.
Administrative
o Input daily reports via our CRM tool outlining calls, follow ups and results
o Prompt return of emails/text messages/phone calls from customers
o Timely and precise inputting of sales orders to our order database.
o Assist with licensee forecasting and budgeting
o Submit monthly expense reports

you are a creative problem solver, flexible and able to work through challenges and changes, with strong negotiation skills
you have 2+ years sales experience, ideally in the beverage alcohol or food industries
bonus points if you have previous experience with selling beverage alcohol!
you have a valid driver's license, clean abstract and clean criminal record
