Post-secondary education in business, marketing or a related field.
You already have at least 5 years of experience in the food industry or other related industries.
A strong network of relationships with restaurants and distributors in the Ottawa area is an asset.
You are a good communicator and negotiator; we tell you that all the time!
You have good ability to work under pressure, are structured and organized.
You are a person who is open to change in a constantly changing environment.
You have good computer knowledge (CRM, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.);
You are bilingual, comfortable in both English and French.

Here's how you'd spend your days if you were working in this position:
Participate in the development of sales in the territory with distributors and restaurateurs.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Ottawa area, including Gatineau, Kingston and Peterborough, Ontario.
Develop close relationships with distributors' sales teams.
Ensure that sales objectives are met and exceeded.
Maintain the CRM (database) up to date.
Continually seek out new business opportunities and be on the lookout for information on the competition.
Follow-up ont complaints
Provide product expertise, demos, and training to customers on our product offerings.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards in all sales activities.
