Power Express is a local courier and hotshot company servicing Edmonton and surrounding area and we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, with a focus on business development and account management. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to effectively manage a territory while generating leads and closing sales. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our products and services to B2B clients, utilizing your expertise in technology sales and CRM software to drive success.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through effective account management.
Conduct outside sales activities, including cold calling, product demos, and presentations to potential customers.
Utilize Salesforce and other CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create strategies that enhance lead generation and drive sales growth.
Engage in direct sales efforts while demonstrating strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within the territory.
Participate in upselling initiatives to maximize revenue from existing accounts while exploring new business opportunities.
Experience
Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales is essential; experience in transportation industry is an asset.
Familiarity with territory management and lead generation techniques is highly desirable.
Strong technical sales background with the ability to understand complex products and services.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
