Under the responsibility of the Business Development Manager, the incumbent fulfills the responsibilities related to sales and representation of their territory.
Is responsible for the development and management of their territory and the sales budget according to the corporation's objectives through special presentations of current and new products in the markets.
Is responsible for representing the company to large retail stores.
Is responsible for product training, communication with customers regarding technical aspects of the products, problem-solving, and influencing customers' purchasing decisions.
Is responsible for reporting to management on the activities of their territory.
Regularly engages in prospecting activities.
Is responsible for providing the company with feedback on field tests of new formulas or prototypes.
Participates in the development of new products with product managers.
Performs any other related tasks.
Skills required:
High school diploma with 5 years of experience in sales or customer service or 5 to 10 years of experience in the flooring installation field (ceramic, carpet, vinyl, wood)
Bilingual in spoken and written (French and English)
Knowledge of industry standards, quality, and Mapei products
Mathematical skills and technical writing
Communication and negotiation skills
Perseverance
Able to work under pressure
Valid driver's license
