Job Description

Safety-Kleen in our Delta, BC location is looking for a Sales Representative to join our team concerned about safety and the environment. You will be responsible for regular account and business development on the West Side of BC. Your work will alternate on the road and at home in collaboration with the Delta branch team.

Responsibilities

• Develop the current customer base with new products or services;
• Prospect and convert potential customers into new customers
• Prepare business proposals and quotes for potential clients
• Work with the Branch Service Representative/Drivers to convert opportunities into new customers
• Reach / Exceed the sales budget.
• Prepare waste profiles for customers as required for the proper transportation and handling of waste
• Participate and attend weekly Branch & Sales meetings.
• Enter daily activities and opportunities into Salesforce!

Qualifications

Requirements for employment with Safety-Kleen?

• Tenacious and competitive personality
• Team oriented mindset
• Organized and detail oriented, ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at a time
• Coachable and have the desire to constantly be learning
• Knowledge of Salesforce is an asset
• Prior experience/knowledge of the Hazardous Waste business would be beneficial;
• Prior sales experience beneficial but not mandatory
