Position based out of our Truro, NS branch, with the flexibility to reside anywhere within the Halifax to Yarmouth territory. Regular presence at the branch is required.

THE OPPORTUNITY



Due to growth, ALPA Equipment Ltd. is currently seeking a dynamic, motivated, and driven individual to join our Sales team. This isn't just another sales job -- it's your chance to take ownership of a territory, build lasting customer relationships, and represent a respected brand with the support of a close-knit, Maritime-rooted company.

Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, the Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling our Construction & Agriculture equipment lines, including Hyundai, JCB, and others, within your assigned territory.

Specific Responsibilities:



Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers while prospecting and developing your assigned territory. Schedule meetings with existing and potential customers via telephone, e-mail, or face-to-face. Generate leads & identify new business opportunities in your assigned market. Work with customers to define their equipment needs in order to offer them solutions. Prepare customer quotes, product presentations and demos. Negotiate pricing with potential customers and close sales. Plan and execute customer events. Continuous improvement of product knowledge. Represent company at industry trade shows and events.

REQUIREMENTS

Education, experience, and skills required:

High School Diploma with relevant experience Computer skills Excellent customer relation skills Ambitious and driven personality Confident and experienced negotiator Relevant industry experience would be an asset Well organized and self-motivated Valid driver's license Travel is required Ability to work in an environment of changing priorities Ability to work 40 + hours per week Fluent in French and English

Sous la supervision du Gerant de succursale, vous serez responsable de promouvoir et vendre nos differentes marques d'equipement de construction et agricole telles que Hyundai, JCB, etc., sur le territoire qui vous sera assigne.

Responsabilites Specifiques :



Maintenir les relations a long terme avec les clients existants tout en developpant le territoire assigne. Planifier des rencontres avec les clients potentiels soit par telephone, courriel ou en personne. Identifier des nouveaux prospects et opportunites d'affaires dans le territoire assigne. Travailler avec les clients pour definir leurs besoins en equipement afin de leurs proposer des solutions. Preparer des soumissions, presentations et demonstrations d'equipement. Negocier les prix avec les clients potentiels afin de conclure les ventes. Planifier et organiser des evenements pour les clients. Amelioration continue de la connaissance des produits.
Representer l'entreprise a differentes activites, salons et evenements de l'industrie.

Diplome d'etudes secondaire avec experience pertinente

Competences en informatique

Excellentes competences en relation client

Personnalite ambitieuse et motivee

Negociateur confiant et experimente

Experience pertinente dans l'industrie serait un atout

Bons sens d'organisation et motive

Permis de conduire valide

Deplacement regulier requis

Capacite a travailler dans un environnement ou les priorites changes

Flexibilite de travailler 40 + heures par semaine

Langues parlees et ecrites : francais et anglais
