Position Overview

We are a safety glove manufacturing company based in Cambridge, Ontario, and are expanding our sales team. We are seeking a

part-time Sales Representative

to join us on a

3-month trial basis

. This role is primarily

office-based

, with occasional travel for customer meetings, distributor visits, and industry events.

The successful candidate will focus on building customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth across assigned markets.

Candidates who demonstrate strong performance and the ability to bring in new clients during the trial period may be offered a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow sales accounts from the Cambridge office Identify and develop new business opportunities with distributors, wholesalers, and industrial customers Promote and sell the company's safety glove product range Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up on leads Communicate with customers and distributors via phone, email, and in-person meetings Attend occasional client meetings, site visits, and trade shows Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and CRM data Monitor market trends and competitor activity Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
Required Qualifications

Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required

Previous sales experience (B2B preferred) Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings Valid driver's license Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Ability to communicate professionally in either Punjabi or Urdu (spoken) is required to support customer and distributor interactions
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in PPE, safety equipment, industrial products, or manufacturing Familiarity with distributor and wholesale sales channels
