Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Representative to lead both inside and outside sales efforts across Western Canada.
This expanding company prides itself on building people-first connections. You'll split your time between the office and the road-visiting client sites, introducing product solutions, and making genuine business connections. The role offers a high level of independence while still providing strong support from the management team.
In this role, you'll be the face of the company-meeting new prospects, growing existing relationships, and helping clients find the right solutions for their needs. Whether it's making a great first impression through a cold call or dropping by an office to introduce yourself, you're someone who's energized by creating opportunities and closing deals.
You'll also manage a local book of business, working closely with current clients to maintain trust and uncover new sales potential. If you're a confident communicator who loves relationship building and is excited by the challenge of sales-this could be a great fit for you.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:

• Prospecting and connecting with potential clients by visiting businesses and introducing company products that may meet their needs
• Cold calling and engaging with prospective clients using excellent interpersonal and first-impression skills
• Managing an existing book of business by upselling, pitching new product offerings, and identifying tailored solutions
• Maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with current and new clients
• Providing regular updates and reports to the management team on sales activity and progress
• Keeping the CRM/database system current with accurate notes, meeting records, and client interactions

Education:

• Post-secondary education is considered an asset but is not required.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Travel within Alberta is required-primarily between Calgary and Edmonton, with occasional visits to other locations

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or sales-related position is required
• B2B (business-to-business) sales experience is considered a strong asset

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail
• Results-driven mindset

Base Salary: $40,000 per year

• Commission on sales
• Reimbursement for work related travel and accommodations
• Full benefits package provided after a 3-month probationary period

Work Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am - 5:00pm

Remote Work:

• This position involves a combination of in-office and remote work, including travel to client sites throughout Alberta.
• Regular travel, particularly between Calgary and Edmonton, is required.

Additional Notes:

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
