The organization is expanding into Southern Alberta and is seeking a motivated, independent sales representative based in Calgary to drive growth in the region.
About the Role
This is a remote, full-time role focused on new business development and technical solution sales within the healthcare sector -- with an emphasis on long-term care facilities, retirement homes, clinics, and hospitals.
You'll work closely with healthcare administrators, facility managers, engineers, and contractors to offer tailored communication system solutions for both new builds and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow presence in Southern Alberta
Prospect, engage, and build strong relationships with healthcare clients, contractors, engineers, and IT professionals
Present and demonstrate nurse call and integrated communications systems tailored to clinical workflows and facility needs
Understand construction timelines and project phases to align product recommendations with client goals
Prepare and deliver professional proposals, quotes, and pricing agreements
Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, project management, and installation, to ensure seamless implementation
Attend trade shows, healthcare tech events, and training sessions to stay current and build your network
Maintain accurate sales records, leads, and forecasting using CRM software
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a confident, technically inclined sales professional with experience in healthcare communications or low-voltage system sales.
Ideal candidates will bring:
5+ years of B2B sales experience in healthcare technology, nurse call systems, low-voltage (50V) solutions, access control, A/V or related industries.
Familiarity with long-term care, retirement homes, clinics, and hospital environments
Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare facility infrastructure
Experience selling to contractors, electrical engineers, or healthcare project stakeholders
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Comfort managing long sales cycles, construction timelines, and procurement processes
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Calgary-based, with willingness to travel across Southern Alberta
