Purpose of the Position



At Swirltex, we're changing the way the world looks at wastewater. We are looking for a

Sales Representative

who is passionate about building relationships, solving real-world problems, and helping customers achieve sustainability and efficiency in their operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in industrial and municipal water markets. You'll act as the bridge between customers and our technical team--translating client needs into innovative Swirltex solutions.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities



Develop and manage new and existing

client relationships

across industrial, municipal, and commercial sectors.

Identify opportunities to apply Swirltex's

proprietary wastewater treatment technology

to customer challenges.

Lead the

sales process

from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and closing.

Collaborate with the

engineering team

to prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and solution presentations.

Conduct

site visits, product demonstrations, and presentations

to key stakeholders and decision-makers.

Maintain an active

sales pipeline

, track progress in CRM tools, and report regularly on sales metrics and market insights.

Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote Swirltex and identify potential clients.

Provide customer feedback to internal teams to support product development and market alignment.

Contribute to

marketing and outreach initiatives

, including webinars, digital content, and case studies.

Perform other related duties as assigned to support company goals and growth initiatives.

Qualifications



Diploma or Degree in

Business, Engineering, Environmental Science

, or a related field.

3-5 years of technical sales or business development experience

(preferably in water/wastewater, environmental, or industrial equipment sectors).

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B technical environment.

Strong understanding of

water and wastewater treatment processes

or the willingness to learn quickly.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build long-term partnerships.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and within a team.

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to travel regularly across Canada and the U.S. for client meetings and trade events.

Valid passport and driver's license required.

Assets (Nice to Have):



Experience within the membrane industry or in sales of membrane systems or products.

Calgary, AB

Travel: Up to 50%;
