As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role is focused on generating new business, strengthening client relationships, and promoting Atlas Automation's capabilities, with support for preparing accurate proposals and estimates when needed.

Position Summary



The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales opportunities in building automation and electrical projects. While the core focus is on business development, client engagement, and closing deals, the role will also involve supporting the estimating process to ensure competitive and accurate proposals.

Key Responsibilities



Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in building automation and electrical contracting. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through meetings, presentations, and consistent follow-up. Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals, budgets, and quotations with estimating support. Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents as needed to assist with accurate project scoping. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure proposed solutions align with delivery capabilities. Track opportunities, monitor pipeline progress, and contribute to overall business development strategy. Represent Atlas Automation at industry events and networking opportunities to expand market presence.

Qualifications



3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within building automation, HVAC controls, or electrical contracting. Exposure to estimating processes (reviewing drawings, preparing cost inputs) is an asset. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with building automation systems, HVAC, and electrical systems is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential); estimating software experience an asset. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Post-secondary education in Business, Electrical Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
