We are looking to add a Sales Representative to our Brantford location.

The Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining and growing sales relationships with existing clients and identifying and soliciting potential clients. Develops and maintains product knowledge and to explain to clients and answer questions. Prepares and maintains customer records daily in the company CRM tool for daily review by management. Responsible for conducting daily sales calls, both in person and over the phone, to customer base. Deals with any customer concerns or issues that arise and resolves in a timely manner. Responsible for conducting calls to suppliers on behalf of customers to assist with any issues and/or questions. Analyzes daily data to identify increases or declines in customer purchasing activity. Reviews stock at customer locations and submits orders. Communicates with Store Managers from each location to inquire about any issues needing to be resolved at clients. Contacts store locations daily to inquire about stock levels and travels to locations if necessary. Deals with customer complaints for items such as product concerns or delivery times. Identifies leads, manages prospects and acquires new business. Responsible for the execution and management of multiple programs throughout the year to drive business, i.e., Steaks for Brakes. Utilizes SDSs for business development in territory as required and other vendors representatives. Responsible for creating the annual budget and sending to the management team.

The Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position, including sales. Solid understanding of the sales cycle (quotation to order finalization) and sales techniques. Possess a valid driver's license. Knowledge of competitors, competitive products, and automotive products is considered an asset. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. Comfortable and confident preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations. Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word & Excel) and other computer technology. Detail oriented and excellent in planning and organization. Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills. Excellent sales administration with a keen desire to learn our products and services. Demonstrates creativity, innovation, passion and initiative. Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines. Ability to successfully work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality of pertinent data.
