Job Description

Our client is the manufacturer of architectural hardware who sell to manufacturers. We are looking for a bilingual sales rep to cover the south shore of Montreal. You will be charged with upselling, cross-selling finding new business. The person who is technical in nature with a sales background, would do well. You will cover a group of clients who buy from us regularly and be tasked with finding some additional ones.

Territory: South Shore of Montreal

Workplace: Work from home Montreal area (occasional visits to the office)

Products/Services: architectural hardware

Salary: Base $60,000-$80,000

Commissions/Bonus: $8,000 annually (paid quarterly and annually)

Car allowance: $8,000 annually + gas paid

Expense\'s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:

-Visit clients on a regular basis
-Maintain and grow revenue assigned to you
-Look for new ways to upsell and crossell customers
-Implicate technical resources when clients have questions and concerns
-Build and maintain strong relationships
-Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
-Develop a deep understanding of our products
-Keep up to date records

Requirements:

-Development vs Maintenance: 20% vs 80%
-Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%
-Languages: French and English
-Education: College degree or equivalent
-Training: On the job training provided
-Overnight Travel: less than 20% overnight required
-Years of experience: At least 3 years experience
-Strong technical knowledge

Transferable Knowledge:

Technical aptitude is a must, including specifications
Great communication skills
