We're looking for a driven
Sales Representative / Account Executive
to join our team and help grow our presence across Canada & United States. This role is ideal for someone who loves building relationships, discovering opportunities, and driving business growth with both new and existing retail partners.
Position Overview
You'll play a critical role in expanding our wholesale and retail network. You'll be responsible for identifying and developing
new business opportunities
while also
managing existing accounts
to ensure long-term satisfaction and growth.
This is a
remote position
, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada. Occasional travel for key customer meetings or other in-person events may be required.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
Research, identify, and contact potential wholesale, retail, and distribution partners.
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow new accounts across Canada and the U.S.
Present product lines, pricing, and promotional opportunities to prospective buyers.
Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
Account Management
Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring consistent service and communication.
Support reorders, merchandising, and promotional activities.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Monitor account performance and resolve issues promptly.
Sales Operations
Maintain detailed CRM records of prospects, leads, and customer interactions.
Prepare quarterly sales and commission reports.
Collaborate with internal production and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in B2B or wholesale sales, preferably in consumer goods, outdoor, home goods, or specialty retail.
Proven success managing and expanding accounts with major retailers such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Canadian Tire, Costco, Walmart, or Target.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Strong desire to prospect and sell new customers.
Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working remotely.
Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required.
Compensation
$45,000 to $55,000 CAD base salary (depending on experience) + uncapped commission.
