Job Description


We are looking for a multi-faceted Sales & Reception Coordinator who will support the continued success of our Kingston, ON hearing clinics. This full-time contract role supporting our clinic through Fall 2025 with potential for extension. This opportunity would be a great career move for someone with strong administration/customer service skills open to starting in a contract capacity with potential for extension or consideration for other nearby clinics at the end of the contract.Key Position Information:

  • $21 - $24 per hour starting compensation based on experience + eligibility to participate in our bonus program
  • 8:30 - 4:30 pm working hours Monday to Friday
  • Onsite position at our clinics; note, the primary clinic will be Princess/Centennial but some coverage may be requested at our downtown location
  • Contract role covering an employee leave until Fall 2025 with potential for extension or opportunities to be considered for other positions (note, this position would not be suitable for summer students)
What you'll be responsible for:
  • Act as a front-line point of contact for clients attending appointments or walk-in visits to our clinic
  • Balancing schedules for clinicians and maintaining systems and physical files with accurate patient information and appointment specifics
  • Participating in some community events on behalf of HearCANADA to promote our services as Kingston's number one choice for hearing care
  • Processing payments (cash, card, insurance), including some third-party billing
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Assisting clinicians with hearing product sales
  • Helping with general hearing aid care/maintenance and sterilization of equipment within the clinic
What we are looking for:
  • Completion of high school diploma or equivalency; post-secondary education or courses in marketing, business, or healthcare would be an asset, though not required
  • Prior experience in customer service, administration, and retail/b2c sales
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license is required as some localized travel will be required
  • An energetic, self-driven person who is excited about business development and community partnerships/marketing
  • Experience in event planning, lead generation, business development a strong asset
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish and build relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and community partners
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and MS Office
  • Availability to work full-time hours and into Fall 2025
