Role Overview:
We're seeking a motivated and versatile individual who can combine sales expertise with hands-on production skills. This role is ideal for someone who not only understands and appreciates Indian wear but also wants to be actively involved in bringing each piece to life.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers, provide styling advice, and help drive sales of Indian women's suits.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and passion for Indian wear and culture.
- Operate and maintain sewing machines for customizations and adjustments.
- Learn and assist in operating embroidery machines (training provided).
- Assist and collaborate with coworkers on apparel decoration tasks, including screen printing, embroidery, and finishing.
- Support team members to maintain high quality and efficiency across all orders.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring every client feels valued.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales or retail experience (fashion/apparel experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of and passion for Indian women's wear, fabrics, and cultural styles.
- Willingness to learn and operate sewing and embroidery machines.
- Team player with a willingness to help coworkers on decoration tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual skills (e.g., Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu) are an asset but not required.
