Direct Travel is seeking a highly organized and focused Sales Operations Manager that is knowledgeable about the sales funnel and is experienced in supporting the sales team with their go-to-market strategy. The Sales Operations Manager will drive revenue by developing lead conversion strategies that will enable the sales team to move prospects through the sales funnel via intuitive nurturing cadences. They will also identify sales-ready behavior through data monitoring and reporting and consistently adjust the approach to reflect the findings. In addition, the Sales Operations Manager will work directly with the marketing team to identify favorable target markets and lead generation strategy based on sales results. This role will work with both the sales and marketing teams, reporting to the Marketing Strategy and Analytics Senior Manager and working closely with the SDRs and sales leadership team.
The Sales Operations Manager must be a proactive and collaborative team member who is adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Manage SalesLoft and/or other Sales Enablement Technology processes in conjunction with the SDR to track, refine, and grow the sales pipeline
Run monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to track the sales process and monitor progress made towards goals
Utilize Salesforce reports and export data to Excel for further manipulation and analysis
Create PowerPoint presentations in support of sales pitches, bid responses, and internal meetings
Manage the company\xe2\x80\x99s SharePoint, Smartsheet, and OneDrive, uploading documents and maintaining a consistent system of organization
Assist the EVP of Business Development and Strategies with projects as needed, including presentations, custom reporting, research, and the creation of documents
Collaborate with the marketing team on custom sales and marketing resources such as collateral, presentations, communications, campaigns, etc.
Understand and monitor business drivers, objectives, and metrics in assigned area(s) of responsibilities
Update the sales territory map and org chart quarterly or as needed
Help maintain and expand a database of growing prospects
Collaborate with sales executives to win the business and meet quarterly/annual company goals and targets
Basic Qualifications
Degree in Sales, Business, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience working in sales operations
Experience working in Salesforce
Knowledge and understanding of sales enablement best practices
Advanced skills in Microsoft Programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Smartsheet experience (or other related project management software)
Positive, proactive individual and cross-functional partner who can easily collaborate with the sales team, marketing team, and other departments
Ability to work from home
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SalesLoft
Experience in the business travel industry
Ability to travel occasionally
