Position Overview

The Marketing & Sales Co-op Student will play a key role in supporting marketing initiatives and assisting the sales team. This position offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, graphic design, event support, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about the homebuilding industry.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Support

Create and update marketing materials using Canva, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. Assist with social media planning, including content scheduling, photography, video creation, and writing engaging captions and copy. Support the development of reels and short-form video content for social channels. Participate in the planning and execution of 25th Anniversary campaigns, including videos, social media content, and website updates. Help edit and update the corporate profile, ensuring messaging reflects current branding and achievements.

Sales Centre & Event Support

Host at the Northside Sales Centre as needed -- greeting guests, providing community and product information, and collecting contact details for the Sales Representative. Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for all visitors.

Design Studio Assistance

Assist with maintaining the Design Studio inventory, ensuring products and samples are up to date. Communicate with trades and suppliers to confirm availability and updates to materials.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Business, or related post-secondary program. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Canva; experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook) preferred. Basic photography and video editing skills are an asset. Experience using WordPress or other website content management systems is an asset. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Friendly, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills. * Interest in real estate, design, or homebuilding is a plus.
