Corporate Sales Manager
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Montreal Airport is looking for an energetic, hardworking, and results-driven Corporate Sales Manager.
Responsible for corporate and transient markets.
Accountable to meet targets/objectives set by higher management.
Develop and negotiate bookings through telephone inquiries, trade shows, and sales trips.
As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning, and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel.
Effectively communicate all relevant sales information to the appropriate departments on a timely basis.
Ensure that the hotel sales and marketing plans are incorporated into daily sales activities.
Member of the manager on duty program.
Job Requirements:
Minimum two years' experience in a similar position within a hotel.
Hotel Management degree an asset.
Traveling required.
Excellent written and oral skills.
Self-starter, strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work within deadlines.
Excellent customer service skills.
Fluently bilingual (French and English)
Computer literate and proficient in Excel, Windows, Delphi & OnQ
Other:
Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company.
Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, interpreting results, giving and receiving instructions, and training
Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances, are utilized frequently.
Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities are often used.
Attention to detail
Ability to travel to attend workshops, tradeshows, conventions, etc.
May require a valid Driver's License.
