Position Summary:
John Bear Buick Chevrolet GMC is seeking a
Sales Manager
to join the New Hamburg dealership. This position is a great opportunity for someone with a successful track record in inventory management, customer retention and profitability. To become part of the team, you should be up to date with all the latest developments in the motor vehicle industry and have a passion for sales.
Responsibilities:
Lead the sales team with a clearly defined plan in an effort to achieve department sales goals and be profitable whilst monitoring expenses.
Liaise with business development and marketing colleagues to identify needs and develop materials to support sales activities.
Perform training with sales staff in weekly meetings and doing one-on-one training as needed.
Desk both new and used deals to maximize profitability.
Handle any customer issues promptly and try to minimize customer inconvenience and maximize the dealerships customer image.
Work closely and cooperatively with all departments.
Communicate key competitive activities, market trends, and adapt customer development plans and priorities accordingly.
Keep updated on all manufacturer and financial institutions current products, programs and incentives.
Qualifications:
Valid Ontario Driver's License
Valid OMVIC License
Knowledge of the automotive market
Experience with VAuto and Reynolds an asset but not necessary
Strong leadership abilities
Effective negotiation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions
Positive can-do attitude
Strong communication and customer service skills with focus on client retention.
Professional and process oriented with a history of success in sales.

Salary: $70,000 - $150,000 per year earning potential.
