As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding our market share, and ensuring our food distribution products reach the right customers. You will also collaborate closely with the marketing and operations teams to develop strategies that align with the company's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, support, and performance feedback.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including restaurants, retailers, and foodservice providers.
Negotiate contracts and close sales with new and existing clients.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for business growth.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports for upper management.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our products and build brand awareness.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience in sales management within the food distribution or related industry.
Proven track record of driving sales growth and meeting targets.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of the food distribution market and customer needs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
