Sales Manager

The Courtyard By Marriott Saskatoon Airport Hotel is looking for a Full Time Sales Manager

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible, from administrative services, customer service, and sales lead development perspectives, to develop future and repeat business. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities, in order to maximize revenue Understand fully the hotel amenities, packages and promotions Generate and develop sales leads and contact potential clients to build business relationships Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients with approval of the General Manager Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the General to also include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business Arrange and carry out Hotel Site Tours Attendance of our General Manager's Reception each week. Reader Board checks of other Properties Administrating Banquet revenues and payment and completing Rooming Lists for group pick-up. Organization of hotel Sales files.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Front Desk/Banquet experience and an acumen to selling Goal orientation and hotel revenue driven Relevant degree, in a sales or business discipline, from an academic institution
