NextStep Nexus is seeking an experienced and results-driven
Sales Manager
to lead and manage our Admissions Advisor (Sales Rep) team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, overseeing daily operations, coaching team members, tracking KPIs, and ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout the student enrollment process.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with sales management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate a team to consistently meet and exceed targets in a fast-paced education consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
? Lead, manage, and motivate the sales/admissions team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
? Monitor daily performance metrics including calls, conversions, enrollments, and follow-ups.
? Train, coach, and mentor new and existing team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and CRM usage.
? Develop and implement sales strategies to improve lead conversion rates and overall revenue.
? Ensure proper handling of inbound and outbound calls and adherence to company sales processes.
? Oversee student application workflows to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions.
? Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and improvement plans.
? Collaborate with management to set monthly and quarterly sales goals and incentive programs.
? Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
? Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service across the team.
Skills & Qualifications
? Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Team Lead (education, student recruitment, or service-based sales preferred).
? Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Strong understanding of sales KPIs, CRM systems, and performance tracking.
? Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a target-driven environment.
? Problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach to sales challenges.
? Experience in training and onboarding sales staff is a strong asset.
? Multilingual abilities (Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Mandarin, French) are a plus.
