Sales Manager Role Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager with enterprise software and ERP services experience. You will own the full sales cycle-from prospecting and pipeline generation to contract negotiation and close-for complex implementation and transformation projects. This role requires strategic hunting, executive relationship-building, solution selling, and close collaboration with pre-sales and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes and account expansion.
Sales Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Drive net-new revenue and manage the end-to-end sales cycle for enterprise software/ERP implementation and transformation engagements.
  • Build, qualify, and maintain a robust sales pipeline; conduct outbound prospecting and targeted account-based outreach.
  • Cultivate and manage executive (C-suite/VP) relationships within Fortune 1000 and large enterprise accounts.
  • Lead discovery, value-based selling, and solution shaping with pre-sales and delivery to align to business outcomes.
  • Develop compelling proposals and lead RFI/RFP responses; deliver persuasive executive presentations and orals.
  • Negotiate pricing, MSAs/SOWs, and commercial terms to close multimillion-dollar deals.
  • Forecast accurately, maintain CRM hygiene, and report on pipeline, win rates, and sales KPIs.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and online forums; contribute market and competitive intelligence.
  • Partner with delivery to ensure seamless handoff, high client satisfaction, and expansion opportunities (upsell/cross-sell).
Sales Manager Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in ERP/enterprise software services (implementations, upgrades, cloud migrations).
  • Proven success closing complex, seven-figure services deals for platforms such as IFS, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong command of solution/value selling, MEDDICC/BANT or similar qualification frameworks.
  • Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and modern sales tools (sales engagement, intent data).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., IFS, SAP, PMP) are advantageous.
